Alitalia was the official carrier for the Rome Olympic games

Alitalia was Established in september 1946 and have changed there logo 3 times to keep it looking modern

This is the first logo used by Alitalia Airline in 1946

 

Twenty-two years later, the classic Alitalia logo was designed in
1969 and immediately became the Company’s distinctive image
all over the world.

In 2005 this logo was changed to what it is today, the logo was
given a more dynamic shape, sloping backwards slightly, and the
colours were made deeper and more sharply defined.
